Terry has over 30 years of winemaking experience. His passion for wine began while studying business at Rutgers University. During this time he attended the Sommelier Institute and received his Level 2 certificate. After making wine on the east coast for three years, Terry found his way to California to study Enology and Viticulture at UC Davis. He also is holds a certificate in Sensory and Consumer Science from UC Davis.
In addition to his winemaking experience at several California wineries, Terry owned and managed Belo Wine Company for over 15 years.
We offer consumers and producers methods for quantifying objective flavor profiles of wine and cider. We offer a wide array of educational services that include every aspect of the winemaking process. Classes are usually between 4-8 people. If you have a group of 8 or more we will host a private class for you. We also do larger groups and off-site events. Please use the contact us form to inquire.
